The sleepy industry can be a very hard thing to break into, but if you’ve got the body, the brains, and the talent, you can make it! This is especially true if veteran Producer and sleepy connoisseur Jacquelyn Velvets takes an interest in you!
When Phoenix first got the email from Miss Velvets, she thought that it had to be a mistake. There was no way the infamous Knockout Queen herself had taken notice! But when she arrived at the audition site, she found James, Miss Velvets’s well known henchman! Phoenix was so happy she could barely contain herself! She thought she was sure to make it though to call backs!
Anyone who knows Jacquelyn Velvets, though, knows that she is a demanding director with a thirst for authenticity.
James made sure she had read the entire contract (which, of course, she hadn’t) before starting. As soon as the chloro rag slid over her face, though, Phoenix made a startling realization! This wasn’t acting, this was the real deal!
She woke quickly, mumbling her surprise. Of course James offered to stop the audition and let her go home, but Phoenix was too excited for the opportunity. She wasn’t giving up! James picked up the sleepy spray, and dove right in.
Again and again, James tested the new talent. Hopefully, Phoenix will last long enough to make it to the silver screen!
